Meet the SECC’s 25 Champions

2010 is our 25th Anniversary year and we are looking to commemorate those individuals and organisations that have helped make the SECC the business it is today. Since we first opened our doors in 1985, the venue has hosted 3,889 events and welcomed over 28 million visitors. Our 25 SECC Champions – one for every year - are the people we’d like to thank for playing a vital role in our success.

The Champions include large trade shows as well as outstanding individuals and sometimes we have had to pick one person to represent an organisation or even a whole industry.

All will be unveiled here. Check back regularly to learn more about the remaining Champions as they are unveiled.
