At the SECC, environmental considerations are very
important to us and we encourage staff and visitors alike to
consider greener ways to travel here.
Cycling Path Network:
The SECC suports its staff with a cycle to work initiative -
join our staff in making their way to the SECC using pedal
power.
The SECC has link roads and paths that are easily navigated
by bicycle as well as cycle paths that run alongside the Clyde.
Glasgow is extensively linked with the National Cycle Network as
well as approved on-road cycle routes.

Walking:
If you are feeling fit, why not leave the car at home and make
your way to the SECC on foot? The local area around the SECC is
serviced by a footpath and a footbridge network. There ar also two
overhead foot bridges which cross the Clyde-side express way at
both the front and the rear of the SECC. There
are two pedestrian bridges crossing from the Science
Centre to the SECC Conference Centre. The new Clyde Arc bridge
(otherwise known as the 'Squinty Bridge) carries both traffic and
pedestrians from one side of the river to the other.
